Let's end this post with a fun giveaway!!

Last July, I had the honor to work with Mary Beth Shaw, Nathalie Kalbach, and Gina Rossi Armfield at Art Journaling Live 3 at the Great American Scrapbook Convention. Boy did we have fun!  4 different approaches to art journaling, tons of laughs, lots of creating went on between all of us and our fantastic audience of students.     This event is now available on DVD  but for one lucky blog follower of mine...well this fun dvd could be yours!  But wait...there's more!!

I also have one brand spankin' new set of 24 water colors for that same winner...I love these water colors as they are highly pigmented and the biggie...affordable!   Both of these items together are valued at just under 100.00! Wahooohoo!  What a great way to start off the holiday season!!

How to win this giveaway?   How about tell me something you are grateful for this year.  We could all use a dose of positivity along with creativity!   Leave a comment for an entry,  share this post and come back and let me know you shared with your friends and followers and you can get one extra entry. PLEASE be sure to leave your email so I can contact you.  I'm a pretty good detective but it takes a lot of time to hunt folks down needlessly :)))  xoxo

**Winner will be chosen at Random on Wednesday, November 30th.******

Thank you so much for stopping by today!  I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your friends and family!

I sooo grateful for the health of my family and friends. So grateful that I have found so many wonderful artists and teachers. Especially you Jodi. I am grateful for all that you have shared with us and helped me through some ugly days. Art (of course along with my family) get me through life. It makes me happy and joyous when I create. People who understand that you just have to CREATE or you will explode are my favorite kind of people. There are some in my life that don't understand because they have no passion themselves. It is very sad. On a more positive note - here is to another year of being inspired by everything around me. I am so grateful!!!

Many changes are possible in the days to come, but nothing can diminish the impact of artists like you, artists who nurture all of us. You, and others in your circle, encourage art everywhere, and you have made my life better. Thank you!

I am grateful that I was able to have a gallery exhibit of my own this year. It helped me grow in so many ways as an artist, to dig deeper and find what I truly feel I am meant to create. That exploration led me to finding you, Miss Jodi, and your classes and art. I would really like to immerse myself more into this process so I am grateful for fabulous teachers like you and Donna Downey and others who share their knowledge so willingly and help encourage others like myself to really experience all that you can. So I thank you.
Enjoy the day!

I am grateful for my 2 year old great nephew, who calls me "Titi" because he can't say Auntie! He finds such great joy in every little thing, and loves to say "I did it!" I can't wait to introduce him to the puppy I am getting on December 23! Toddlers and puppies, it doesn't get any better than that! Carol Dunn carol@caroldunnart.com

I am so very grateful for my husband. He is my rock. Without him I'm not sure how I would have survived the devastating loss of our son 4 years ago. I am also grateful for my grandchildren - they are joys beyond measure! And, if not for my art journals - I would have been unable to process all the varied emotions of the last four years. Finally, I am thankful to God for giving me all these resources and the strength to not only survive, but at last begin to thrive on the other end of a long journey to healing. Life is a miracle that I do not take for granted!!

I have so much to be grateful for. We have a roof over our heads and food on the table. Both of my children are grown and married. Each owns a home and all work good jobs! We are most thankful for the new granddaughter who will be arriving next April. It means more trips between Michigan and Phoenix but that is ok. I am thankful for the opportunities to grow and learn and thank you for your inspiration! Happy Thanksgiving!

I am always grateful for my children and my 14 grandchildren, but this year I was able to come to Maryland to see my son and his family for Thanksgiving. Additionally, I have seen my granddaughter who lives in Fairfax, Virginia, and my sister and her son. What a great trip! I go home tomorrow. This is a special trip for me because I haven't seen them for three years.
