I have tried many online mixed media workshops and I have liked them all and learned from all of them, but the Painterly in Pink Workshop was completely amazing!  Jodi makes the sketching, collage, & painting all seem possible for even an amateur like me!  I lost my fear!  Her instruction has taken my art to a new level!  After watching Jodi's videos, my sketches improved dramatically. And, once I started painting, the Silk Acrylic Glazes really enhanced my work over the use of normal acrylics.  I'm not usually a person to like bling, but I loved the sparkle and glimmer of the beautiful Silk colors and I love the gorgeous range of colors available!    Lynn Ovenden

Painterly in Pink is an awesome online class. Jodi takes you through all the steps and before you know it you are drawing and shading faces. She made moving on to painting the faces in bold color feel like a natural thing. As an abstract artists I have always had a desire to understand how to create faces on substrates. With a fun and happy personality, Jodi answered all my question and more. I looked forward to each and ever lesson!

I thoroughly enjoyed this class, Jodi!  With your fabulous and detailed instructional videos, I was able to take my portraits from "good" to GREAT!  I am so happy to have been a part of this fabulous workshop.  The facebook group was also awesome!  The ladies generously shared their experiences, tips, tricks, and photos of their work.  I really enjoyed learning how to incorporate the Luminarte Silks into my canvas paintings, and make them glow with shimmer and sparkle!  I've attached some pictures - feel free to use them to promote your next live class.
Thanks again, Jodi.

When I first came across Jodi Ohl's Painterly in Pink class using
 Luminarte silks to make
backgrounds and paint faces, I got so excited. My art resolution this year was to
 improve in drawing
and painting faces. That, combined with the fact that I was
very curious about
the silk acrylic glazes, I didn't hesitate to join. And what an amazing class!
Jodi's videos and teaching style were so effective.
I couldn't wait to get started after watching each lesson. Even the
 silks were wonderful to use.
They're gorgeous pools of buttery, sparkly color and now I want to own them all.
I highly recommend this class to anyone... and everyone!

I have taken quite a few mixed media classes and Painterly in Pink with Jodi Ohl has been one of my favorites. Jodi is a wonderful instructor who provides detailed videos and instruction for her techniques. She is very available and will give instruction as needed. You will not be sorry if you sign up for one of her classes.

Hi Jodi, I would love to win a spot in your Painterly in Pink session. I took Storybook Collage with you this past summer at Create and it was so much fun. You really made the painting techniques doable for me. I posted about your classes on my Facebook page too. Best, Nancy

I don't know what happened - I thought I posted a comment earlier today. Oh well.. I said then that I have several online art friends who raved about how good your course (Painterly in Pink) was, and I am very interested in taking it. I would love to be included in the draw for a spot in it. Thanks so much for this, Jodi!

I am already a fan of silks having taken Dion's class, but I was really disappointed that "Painterly in Pink" was running concurrent with two other online courses I was taking. I am so happy it is starting back up on 12/14. I would love to win a spot in the class, but either way I think you may see me registered!

please pick me, please pick me! Would love to participate in this online class. Being retired and on a limited budget, it is hard to find the money to take classes. I love luminarte paints and need to find more ways to use them. Hope I win!
