98 posts and counting! Give Away coming up!!!

I've started my new part time job. It's called creating! It's a great job, doesn't pay whole lot, but the rewards are pretty darn good. Money's not everything though is it? It does help don't get me wrong, but that's why I still have a day job...so I can feed the kidlins and fund my part time job! Is it supposed to work that way? Well I do have an idea as to how to start peddling my wares soon....I'll let you all know once I have some things peeps might want to buy, I'll launch my idea but for now...I create for me :)
I am so excited to receive this book....I just watched her show on Craft Lab again---- recently purchased her book on Amazon along with another crafty book---and I'm trying out one of the techniques with my own twist. So here you see are the makings of my latest collages. I'm using paper towels for my printed transfer color and then I'm going to collage the towels onto the doodles. Wish me luck, I hope I dont ruin them!!

This purdy little clipboard (are you sick of seeing them?? I hope not, they are so fun to make) is my first commissioned piece in a long time. Okay ever. LOL It's for one of my co-worker's sister. He's purchasing it for her birthday....sssshhhh!!

I'm so sweet, I am even gonna wrap this lovely for him. I hope word of mouth travels and this piece leads to more paid work. I sold it for 15.00 so not to shabby! I still can't quit my day job but ladies, I'm on my way!!!

Okay so I was out yard saling and stopped by this vendor to pick up some books, and I thought....heck no. 1.00 is way too much to spend on romance books. I walked right on by without even looking twice. :) (Thanks BJ for leading me to the water! I hope I don't sink in the hole! ) LOL

I am so exciting about the swap! This will be my first one. I was out thrifting today and was lucky enough to pick up some awesome stuff. I have to take pictures and post. I was on the lookout for pink and green , but decided to hold off until I know who my partner is and what she likes.

Yay for the creative "job" And I like your cute clipboard too! I keep picking up that book at the store, and then I put it down but now that I know someone's really using the techniques I might just have to walk it all the way to the register next time! Thanks :) Oh and thanks for Trinity's bday wishes :) She had a great time.

If it weren't for the whole money thing, life would be so much more fun. lol Then again, it's pretty good anyway. :) Enjoy creating. That's what I do, too. Money isn't everything. (just food and housing, warmth, water...... lol)
