What's next???

I may be on away from Art this week...but my Etsy shop is slowly but surely getting restocked, take a look and enjoy some colorful inspiration :)

Thank you for all the kind words and generous comments about my booth and show this weekend! You know how to make a girl feel good :) Heidi asked if it was worth all the some ways yes, in other ways no....I didn't meet my goal immediately as far as my initial sales go, but if the leads I received for the custom orders work out, then yes, it was definitely worth the work to put the show together. Even without the orders though, it was a great experience to actually be face to face with people that didn't know me or my work and to see what they had to say, and then in other instances to hear feedback of those who have been following me was also really gratifying. A few people who hadn't seen so much of my work all in one place, had especially complimentary things to say and that was exciting to hear as well!

What I wanted most to do, was to prove to myself that I could do it and I accomplished that much and more. Honestly, I have only been doing this for going on 2 years now so there is so much to learn. It takes longer for those of us who are going about their growth of an artist and in the business of art through the school of hard knocks...trial and error, but learn we do. Grow we do. And have. I've made it over one of my own milestones that I put out in the universe that I wanted to experience and now I'm looking forward to tackling the next :)

What is it that you striving to do next??

Hey there,

I have subscribed to your blog for awhile, admiring your work. So, whimsical and vibrant!

I couldn't find a way to contact you on your blog. A friend and I are applying for a festival for the first time. I am lost and have so many questions. Would you be willing to answer a few for another emerging artist. I only picked up a paintbrush and pen and pencil 2 1/2 years ago and balancing this pursuit with all that is already in my life is overwhelming sometimes.
