Updated!! Winner announced at the end of this post:))
*You can also still access the free collage/graphics sheet to use in your own journal (non commercial art).
I don't know about you but during the cold weather months, I like to take my artsy mojo to a comfy chair, maybe grab a cup of ummm...coffee...depending on the time of day of course ,and just create in my journal or sketchbook. It's the artists way of nesting, I guess! It's also a great way to 'stock up' on ideas for future projects and have a fun visual diary of sorts to reference back when you need it.If you are looking for creative project so that you can join in on the visual journaling movement, my class "Art Journal: The book" is an affordable (and super fun) workshop which shows you how to make your own quick and easy 'junk journal', create fun printing plates from easy to find material and I also give you an overview on what journals are out in the market along with a sample page. Included in your workshop 'kit' will be an assortment of journaling prompts to get you started AND 3 free collage sheets. The class has 8 videos and runs about an hour and half, for a super low price! I previously released this lesson during the workshop 21 Secrets 2013 but have brought it back by popular demand so that you can take the class now and view it for an unlimited time*!
*All of our classes at Creative Workshops are open ended and available until the teacher retires the class if they ever do:)
As my gifty to you for stopping by, I put up a free sheet on my 'work in progress' website for you to download. Just go to this page and you can click the link to download the full color copy of this page:
During the workshop you will get 2 other sheets so you are getting 6.00 of FREE merchandise on top of your class! whooohoo!
Class begins on Monday so join on the fun today!! What? You want more goodies?? Okay, I'll throw in one free tuition for the class for one of my blog friends who comments on the post. I'll randomly choose from the comment/entries on Saturday, January 25th .
If you by chance already signed up for the class or sign up for the class and win, you will either be refunded or have the option of gifting your winnings to a friend. Win Win!
All you need to do to enter to win is to tell me how you stay inspired in the cold winter months (or hot weather months...whenever your nesting time is). What do you like to during short bursts of time or small doses creatively or otherwise to refill your well? ALSO PLEASE be sure to either provide an email or an alternative way to contact you. I had a ton of entries last time that signed up without having an identity attached. I need to be able to locate you without hiring a private investigator ;)
Our winner is:
