Some days, painting is just about learning and growing for me. I'm learning to be better at painting my mixed media portraits. Discovering more about the products I have in addition to my paint (crayons, water soluble pencils, other cool pencils and charcoal). Funny thing about learning, the more you practice whatever it is that is challenging you, the better you get at it. I have several character portraits completed now and each one gets better in their own way. The work itself is dramatically better than it was three years ago. In about 50 years, I should master something. Until then, I'll just enjoy the process.
With an eye to the future and dreams as far as the horizon goes, live life fully.
