Trying to Find My Way in the World

Is there something inside of you waiting to bloom?
Begging to be released as you "Try to Find Your Way In the World"....I know for me there is. Everyday I think I find her....think I find me, and then I wake up and rediscover myself all over again.

Happy, sad, excited, contemplating......what ever the day may bring, I always start with the hope that it blooms into something greater than I imagined.

...and then there are times when you just experience the day and do what it is that you do, because it makes you happy.
Real, honest, smiling, uplifting brush strokes transforming a blank canvas into something that is bold and vibrant--truly speaking to you beyond what you imagined as you immerse yourself in pure bliss.

Creativity can cure the winter blahs. Try it :)

Thanks Tia-- :) you always are so encouraging and I appreciate that!!! Funky colors and swirlies are so much fun! xoxo

Debra, I am going to do a journaling class over at Creative Workshops online; have you seen that? It opens February 28th, 2010 at
www.creativeworkshops.ning.com

For my next class, I may very well do a funky floral class, I'm going to to try to do a total of 3 online classes this year, so any ideas from my potential students on what you would like to see is always welcome! Thank you for visiting!!!

Hi, this is my 1st time here and I am absolutely floored by your work. I love your style, the subjects & the colors you use.
You're so right about color keeping the blues away. I think just expressing something true from within our soul also plays a big part.
I'm new to the art world & hope I'll be able to tap into my soul as it looks like you have.
Again, beautiful work!

Lucky people who can take this class in person! I would so be there if I were in NC :-(
your journaling class sounds awesome, I'm in a rut when it comes to journaling...haven't done a page since probably October. Would you believe I find art journaling harder to do than painting a portrait! or should I say, I find it more intimidating, when it should just flow. You may see me in your online class if I can get some other stuff out of the way.
You are doing fabulous work by the way! you are really growing, I am so proud of you Jodi!
xoxo
