February Giveaway!

Better late than never--I'm here to announce my February Giveaway! My original intention was to post a giveaway the first of every month but this month has been a little out of the ordinary, I've been sick as a dog lately and then unfortunately I've had a death in my family. My dear stepmother (her name was Jodi, too) passed this week. So, needless to say my creative energy or any energy has been slim to none. Thanks to the many who have sent me mesages via email, facebook, and phone...I really appreciate your concern and loving thoughts. It really has been a great source of comfort to me.

Okay so on to my giveaway. Last month I gave away a $20 dollar gift certificate to my Etsy shop and one of my magnets. What's the prize this month?

I'm giving away a $25.00 gift certificate AND a print. Oh wow....the pot keeps getting sweeter!! Well it is February, the month of love so what the heck!

How to enter?

Tell me what is your new LOVE that you've discovered. Maybe it's a book, maybe a cool new art supply. Maybe it's yoga or an awesome new singer you discovered. Spread your love and I'll reward you with some of my goodies!

What are some of my Loves this month?

Love my new laptop I bought with my art money a few weeks ago!!
I love Amerciano coffee with hazlenut that I get at Swank, in Southern Pines, NC
Dove Chocolate (treat for myself on Valentine's Day)
I loved the book The Shack. I finished reading that a couple weeks ago and it is VERY GOOD!
I Love Panera Breads Fuji Apple Chicken salad....MY FAVORITE

Okay, those are just a few things I love. I could go on and on, but I wanna hear yours!

Contest ends February 25th!!

I love more than anything, above all, my family

After that I love every creature great and small

But on a more original note, I am really enjoying getting ready for the 2 workshops I will be teaching in April

I am also enjoying backing off on some spending my family and I had gotten too accustomed to. We are feeling the pinch of this new economy just like everyone else, and I think it's time we all pull the reins in and put more emphasis on the important things in life, rather than the material things.

I am enjoying listening to the song on Jodi's blog right now :)

well since you asked for new loves, here are some things I can think of:

CPS and Somerset magazines! I've only discovered them a few months ago, now I anxiously wait for each new issue

Ning- for all the incredible artist communities I have joined, and all the great classes to take

rubberstamps- and other scrapbooking supplies, who knew they would work in paintings?

new product called 'panpastels' which is available in a local art supply store, and I am forcing myself to wait before buying.

Art journaling, I did my first pages ever with Pam's class, and am still doing them.

woodburning, I love it!
