News and Peruse

Thank you for all your thoughts on DS--he is still red and swollen and prickly all over--prognosis, he must have rolled in some Poison Ivy..LOL. Sarah wins the Momma Dr. of the Year prize, with her right on the target guess on what the Dr. would prescribe him. He needs to stay out of summer day care for a week and no swimming and lots of washing of sheets and towels for Momma, but other than that he is doing okay. If I could just get him to stop scratching himself, we'd be good to go :)

Swappers-we should have the names out today--we had taken the weekend off from the puter so yesterday Rebecca did a fantastic job at creating a spreadsheet with everyone's names and addresses for all the swappers, then last night I tried to round up any that were missing so we are ready to rock n roll today! We are extending the deadline by a week since we are running a bit behind and there are a couple of us with vacations right at the tail end of the swap so we figured it would be best to just extend the deadline, I'm sure others will have vacation as well during this time so it will work out for all of us (about 71 swappers!!)

I thought I'd share some links for your crafty & mercantile needs. The other day I was looking for plastic bags to package things in. Hobby Lobby had about 12 in a bag for 5.97 or so. Looky here--this site has a variety of paper packaging including small plastic cello bags sold in cases of 1000 starting at about 11.50!

Thanks for all the great links!

(Except when I click on the two ribbon/trim links I get an error msg... is it just my computer?)

Hope your little one is feeling better soon : )

Have a great day!

I'm sorry about your DS's poison ivy, and I'm glad he's on the mend. I know it takes a while, but he'll get there.
And thanks for all the links too. I've bookmarked most of them for myself. I'm especially glad you found papermart.com. I've needed their products and you're right - they aren't expensive!

Bummer! Poison ivy is a terrible thing for a boy to get!
Thanks for all the links! I wasted several hours yesterday searching for an online source for a certain brand and color of raffia. So irritating when you can't find what you need. I may have to drive an hour to get two little spools to finish my project!
